Monday 25th Saturday 30th July.

Lots of golf and golf and more golf hehe......but its paying off cos his scores are getting better and better. Home Ed group Tuesday....last one till September....no-one wanted to leave. Friday J was on cloud nine cos he shot his best score ever in golf and scored a 29 :) Saturday was captains day at the golf club so nice little party food spread laid on for the kids and a 18 hole competition.....J came joint fourth.....bloomin good when you think he only started playing seriously 6 months ago.

Thursday 21st to Sunday 24th July.

Lots and lots of golf been played because J is playing a qualifier soon for the Welsh Mini Masters Golf Competition. Youth Friday night which he enjoyed. Golf lesson Saturday morning and he was joint 2nd with 33 which was brilliant. Also got his team t shirt too which is dead smart.

Sunday we went with family to the chapel for the graveside service and to scatter my late Uncles ashes and lay a plaque for him.

Monday 18th till Wednesday 20th July.

Not been up to a  lot the last few days......went up to golf Monday but not a lot else cos it was a grotty day. Tuesday was home ed group which was great tho J didnt join in a lot as his tourettes is really bad so he was quite insular....after home ed group we nipped to my dads to pick up a really cool t shirt from Sonisphere and a poster of Kesha my dad had got J then home then we all went and played golf in the afternoon and even I played even tho I only took it up 2 weeks ago. Today I took him up to golf and he played awesomely....scored 33 on the 9 holes tho had he done what id said on hole 2 he would have had his lowest ever score of 30!

Sat 16th and Sun 17th July.

Eurgh what awful weather! Not a lot been done bar golf up the range Saturday and J went to Sunday school Sunday. Hope the weather improves cos he has a golf competition qualifier to prepare for :/

Friday 8th til Friday 15th July.

Friday was spent packing to go camping plus J went to youth in the evening. Saturday we packed everything plus the kitchen sink into the car, roof box and trailer and set off for Devon. We go to the same site every year as we can pick our pitch plus J knows it and the layout etc and he feels comfortable enough to ride his bike and go to the park bit or walk he dog plus they have a strict rule of no noise after 10.30pm and there's no noisy clubhouse/bar. On the Sunday it was boiling so we spent the day down the beach, Monday we went to Ilfracombe and went to the harbour and played crazy golf and had a general wander plus had a cream tea in a little restaurant were the little birds come right up by you for crumbs. They have a fab butchers in the town so we always go their for their BBQ packs n had a yummy BBQ that night. Tuesday was spent round the site n tent as J wasn't 100% n a bit sunburnt so we just went out in the evening to the Fortiscue for a meal. Thursday was another scorcher so we went back to the beach. Then all too soon it was over n time to come home tho J was glad to go to youth again Friday night. Got hundreds of photos but heres a few I took on the phone.....

Thursday 7th July.

Half day today as ive got a ton of stuff to sort for when we go camping so he did English and maths and was really chuffed with himself cos he is finally grasping fractions :) Finished off his history from yesterday then he was done.

Going to attempt to set up the mobile blog for while away but if I cant this l be updated a week tomorrow lol :)

Wednesday 6th July.

Another hyper day.....really struggled today to get him to do anything. Did maths and fractions which he really used to not get at all and he is starting to get it with the way im teaching him :) Did his English work then history and boy did he not cooperate....it was WW2 which he loves but he had to really be prompted to do anything. Before PE took him n the dog for a walk to try n burn off some energy.

PE then and it was golf and he did well even continuing the round after the rain hammered down.

Tuesday 5th July.

Another hyper day here......really hard to get him to stay on track. Home ed group was cancelled due to the rain so he did design n technology work and started his new Tamiya model of a spitfire.

Then he had a project to do on Top Gear....his huge 'thing' is cars so figured it was right up his street. After that he had free time as id not really planned a lot due to it being home ed group day.

Monday 4th July.

Boy has he been hard to keep on track today! Really hyper and full of it. Did the usual maths and English and even though maths was fractions he didn't grumble and did well. Did Geography and it was Scotland as we made shortbread......he enjoyed learning about the Callanish Stones (blame me as I love the crofters stories from the 1800's and they used to go to the stones), Nessie and tossing the caber. Art was using publisher to create a birthday card. Off to golf in a bit for Monday's lesson.

Sat n Sun 2nd n 3rd July.

No golf for J Saturday as he went to the church bbq they have every year. He had a whale of a time but came home looking like a swamp monster love him cos he fell into a rock pool. Sunday was a lazy day for J as I was doing the race for life in Cardiff in the morning. Evening time tho we did the cookery he missed in the week and made shortbread......it is so easy to make and tastes gorgeous.

Friday July 1st.

I like Fridays they are a a relaxed day when learning takes as long as it takes kinda thing. J did fractions and for the first time ever didnt mind doing them. Science was so funny....was habitats.....had a right laugh watching Giant Pandas doing rollypollys and Red Pandas jumping up to open back doors and finding out that poison dart frog babies eat eggs that the parent lays. Some great sights that have video sounds and photos aswell as the info....science tends to go off on tangents n takes hours to do lol. J had his Red Panda and Giant Panda out tho his panda was smaller than the Red one lol.

Then he had youth this evening and had a hotdog night which he loved.

Thursday 30th June.

Did the usual maths and English and did some local history too and J was surprised to learn there is a viaduct that was designed by Brunel near us. Didn't do cookery cos he really wanted to go to golf and its rare he wants to leave the house so golf it was but not before walking the dog n 'teaching' her a few tricks.
