Friday 23rd til Thursday 29th

How slack am I :/ So not up to date on this! Lots n lots of golf, J is loving his new club and the juniors there :) Done the usual english n maths. Had an awesome time at the home ed groups 1st birthday party and it was fab to see J joining in so much. He has been doing a lot of art designing a concept car and also using photoshop to retune and design cars. Made menus for his 'cafe's thru the times of history. So much been done cant even remember it all!

Thursday 22nd September.

No home schooling yesterday as had a funeral to go to. Today did the usual english n maths n history then p/e and did some holes at the golf club with J.

J did lots of free running today aswell when we walked the dog.

Tuesday 20th Sept.

Home ed group day today and Jordan had a whale of a time with his pals. It was also NOT school photos day :)

Monday 19th September.

Really proud of J cos he has mastered fractions.....he hated them so much and used to be kept in for break-times and lunchtimes struggling with them but in 30mins ive managed to get him to understand them. Also did Geography which was about China as we cooked from China Friday.

Friday 16th September 2011

Did the usual maths and english and am pleased to say that in 30minutes J has managed to learn what no school taught him in 5 years....fractions and fractions of number!!!!! Also did science and then cookery which was Duck in hoisin sauce in pancakes.....J did try it but didnt like it.

Thursday 15th Sept 2011

Nipped for a breakie first as needed to buy hoisin sauce, home then n J wasnt feeling well and neither was the dog, J struggled with maths today cos of the stupid school not bothering to help him with it but I managed to explain it in 30mins....makes me glad he is home schooled! Jiggled the day a bit cos J wasnt well so he did project/ict work today and we swapped cooking over to tomorrow.

Wednesday 14th Sept.

Did the usual English and Maths work n it was a real struggle to get him to stay on task as he seemed quite hyper n moody today. Then he did history which he enjoyed because it was all about a Roman menu compared to ours so he had to choose what he would eat off the Roman menu (not much lol ) and then create his own. Then we took the dog for a walk cos he wanted to practice some free running.

Then it was time for P/E and he had a lesson with the pro n the pro took him out to play a few holes then after the lesson I took J round a few holes to practice n he played really well :)

Tuesday 13th Sept.

Would have been the home ed group not back to school picnic but had a bit of a family upset so didnt get to the picnic. Later in the afternoon I took J up to play 9 holes on the small academy course.....blowing a gale but we enjoyed it. In the evening he had his junior lesson as his golf club....he loved it. I enjoyed the sunset ;)

Monday 12th Sept.

The usual English and maths then Geography, J had cooked from Japan so he researched Japan and also made a flyer to advertise for people to visit Japan.

After that he had art and has decided to design a concept car so spent and hour designing the wheel...its an ongoing project :)

Sat n Sun 10th n 11th.

Went to a golf complex near my parents house for J to play a different course....got soaked thru to the skin but he played really well and had some cracking drives....

Sunday morning he went to Sunday school and the afternoon was a chill out on for him as I blitzed the house.

Friday 9th Sept 2011

Right hotchpotch day.....got up n went to Morrison's for a breakie and got flowers to take up the cemetery to lay on Ant's dads grave. Jordan was not well and had horrendous earache so we did learning on the sofa.....read more of 'The War Horse', did some maths and a bit of science. Golf lesson was cancelled and rearranged so left learning after that cos his ear was still bad.

September 8th 2011.

J wasnt at his best today.....very sore loose tooth and earache. Did maths and english and some 'J led learning' then did cookery.....wow it was stunning. J made Teriyaki King Prawns with crispy rice noodles and dip.....it was a doddle for him to make and whats better he ate it and loved it!!!!!!!

Sept 6th and 7th 2011.

Tuesday was non de-script as there was no home ed group meet due to the rain so J did incidental learning.

Wednesday we did the usual English and maths and then did history and J made a medieval banquet menu for his own cafe.

P/E then n the weather was horrendous but we managed to play 9 holes on the academy course before the heavens opened.

August 2011 until Sept 5th 2011

O my lordy have I been slack.....not kept this blog going during August.....pretty much been lots of golf and lots of golf competitions all month. J changed golf clubs last week due to some things none of us were happy about at the other one.

Promise to keep this up to date now!!!!!!

Back to learning today......the usual Maths and English and Geog was good as he made a passport of different countries and info on them countries then art he made a model elephant and an anniversary card too. Went to the range then to knock some balls.
