Monday October 31st 2011.

Back to learning, did English and Maths then did Geography and he did research and a project about Halloween traditions round the world and some countries really surprised him lol. Learning had finished then but he went on to do some art using Photoshop which he really enjoyed.

Went shopping then and he did more incidental learning by helping find stuff on the shopping list and looking for the best deals on items etc.

Saturday 22nd til Sunday 30th October 2011

Half term break....Monday was the Pontypridd Club championship.....

Tuesday and Wednesday was the Junior Ryder Cup at the club and Jordan had a whale of a time....he won the game on Tuesday with his golf partner but lost out right on the last hole the following day in the singles match but Europe won :)

Thursday was a lazy day cos he hadnt stopped all week then Friday was the Bridgend Home Educators Bridge project to do with engineering.

Saturday he went to play with a few of the juniors in the Halloween Texas Scramble, was so nice cos its the first time he has been asked to join anyone, he ended up staying for grub then spent the afternoon in the junior room n also went to the Halloween party. Sunday was a lazy day after a very busy week.

Thur 20th n Fri 21st Oct 2011

Thursday booked a tee up golf n had breakfast up there then played the 18 holes. Friday did the usual English n maths then he did a project on The Cold War after asking about it over breakfast Thursday.

Monday 17th - Wednesday 19th Oct 2011

Did English n Maths n Geography n Science then did Art and he made an airfix model of a Spitfire :)

Thats now drying (the glue) ready for painting.

Tuesday was going to be a trip to the Big Pit but it was cancelled as noone was going. Golf lesson in the night :)

Wednesday was English and Maths n History and then his favorite lesson....cookery. He loves the programme CHOPPED and wanted a mystery box like they do on the programme so he had a mystery box of lunch items and a mystery box of desert items...have to say lunch was very yummy :) Lunch items were a cucumber, tomatoes, spring onions, Chicken, mini wraps and a garlic and herb drizzle sauce plus anything from the fridge and store cupboard but you have to use every mystery ingredient. Desert was meringue nests, strawberry ice cream sauce, single cream, kitkats and raspberries.

Friday 14th to Sunday 16th 2011.

Flexible Friday so did a bit of learning then some golf. Noticing him doing more autonomous learning lately too without him realising :) Saturday we went to see the girl who runs the home ed group and met her little baby Honor then we went to play golf and he played fantastic.

Sunday was non de-script as it was full of housework.

Thursday 13th Oct 2011.

Did some J led learning and the usual English n Math tho for Math tried to take a break from the serious stuff n used a quiz type style print out.

P.E then n went to golf and Jordan played amazingly well, best score yet for the front nine. While on the course he was telling me what he had learnt off Google earth about how far our house is from the centre of the earth which was cool as it was off his own back :)

When we got back he was using lego creator to design a lego set of a bank and also watching CHOPPED cos he loves cooking and the TITANIC-TRUE STORY.......love the way home school is so flexible :)

10th -12th Oct 2011

Grotty day Monday so other than the usual English, Math etc did some art were J set up a 'scene' and took photos then did work on it in adobe. Tuesday he was at golf. Wednesday after a CAMHS appointment was English n Math then he did cookery and made pizza's.....very yummy they were :)
